Apology for Slavery

It was for the economy, but it wasnt right. And we're sorry.

Typical ambivalent , goofy MTV generation thinking in that the young man in the video contradicts the seeming apology, by intermittently making statements which defend slavery like "saying it was for the economy" (which is a false statement ). Is the societal nighmare of ambivalent , postmodernist / conflicted , goofy MTV generation thinking ever going to end ?

    Consistency indeed is a virtue , despite how evil people like Alanis Morisette and the hipsters, have made it chic to be full of internal contradictions .

    There is NO foolishness to consistency. Ambivalence is the hobgoblin of small minds .
